Captivate is zealous for God’s glory to be made known to all the ends of the earth.

Global Mission Month - September 2026

September is Global Mission Month at Captivate Ryde! It’s a chance to hear how God is at work around the world and be reminded of our part in His global mission. As we continue to give to, pray for and connect with our mission partners, we hope this month will encourage us in our partnership with those taking the good news of Jesus to people around the world.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $25,000 to support our missionaries.

prayer

Partnership means real relationships, commitment to prayer and personal investment, and sacrifice to one another.

Falls in Vanuatu

  • Pray for the students of Talua Theological Institute to be humble, faithful learners of the gospel.

  • Pray for the Falls to adjust well to new cultures together as a family with God as their guide.

Vergheses in Seychelles

  • Pray for the Vergheses as they live Seychelles. May they continue to grow their heart for the people of Seychelles and encourage their partner churches in the same way.

  • Pray for the people of Seychelles, that they might have their hearts softened to hear the true gospel.

Wongs in SE Asia

  • Pray that more people in South-East Asia would receive God’s word in their heart language and come to know, trust, and follow Jesus.

  • Pray for the family as they continue to settle in to life in South-East Asia, that God would provide good health and Christian community to help them serve sustainably and with joy.

Y&G

  • Pray that God would keep Y & G as mission mobilisers, equipping more Australians to share the gospel in least-reached places.

  • Pray for ongoing opportunities to build relationships and share Jesus with African Muslim communities, that many would come to know and follow Him.
