a little bit about us
We are a Presbyterian church in North Ryde. Our members are an active part of the wider community with many of us living, working and attending schools in the Epping, Eastwood, Ryde, Macquarie area. We are a church of 250 members with families and kids and young adults. In God’s grace, we have experienced exciting growth and are pumped to keep laying strong gospel foundations. The staff currently consist of the Alan (minister) and Jireh (pastoral assistant).

We are prayerfully seeking a ‘generalist’ pastoral leader who is excited and equipped to make disciples and multiply leaders. They will apply themselves to designated ministry areas (we use the 5 M’s) with the flexibility of strategic movement over time. If you have:

student ministers
We are committed to providing real training in real ministry contexts. Student ministry at Captivate is a partnership that keeps your ministry muscles warm, builds up the church, and spurs you on to kingdom work.
Our time together will help you continue teaching the Bible in various contexts, developing a wide range of theological and practical ministry skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to try new things and make mistakes in a supportive environment.

Our vision in establishing ministry apprenticeships at Captivate Church is to: equip a new generation of gospel workers. build a new training ground for the worldwide mission.
We want to encourage and equip the next generation of full-time gospel workers. We are grateful for God’s equipping and resources that allow us to share beyond Captivate. We believe that a ministry apprenticeship is an excellent way to be tested and trained for gospel work in various contexts.
